Young Voices Heard documents an innovative participatory research project where young people acted as researchers, exploring the issues that most affect their lives. Supported by Development Focus and partner organisations, the initiative demonstrates how young people’s participation can lead to practical solutions, stronger communities, and more accountable institutions.
Through participatory mapping, drawing, interviews, and group dialogue, young people identified key concerns such as safety, access to education, environmental health, and inclusion. The report highlights the power of young people’s voices when adults listen, learn, and share decision-making.
